    Simulation Study on Noise Reduction of Bionic Blade for Cooling Fan of a New Energy Vehicle

    In this paper, we design the fan structure of a new energy vehicle based on the principle of bionic design for reducing noise and improving cooling efficiency. In our preliminary work, large eddy simulation was used to obtain information such as the speed and pressure pulsation of the original fan surface, and the reliability of the simulation results was verified by comparing the bench test results. With reference to the silent characteristics of bird wings, the fan blades arere-designed with bionics optimization. Compared with the original fan structure, the obtained bionic design scheme achieves a 14.36% increase in air intake and a 4.09 dB (A) reduction in total sound pressure level at the target speed. In addition, compared with the original design, the first-order sound pressure level of the fan has been reduced from 59.23 dB(A) to 55.02 dB(A), achieving a noise performance improvement of 4.21 dB(A). With the rapid development of the new energy automobile industry, this work provides a set of feasible solutions for designing the fan of small new energy automobile. The technical route of numerical simulation, experimental verification, and optimization design of fan noise adopted in this paper has significance for the increasingly prominent problems of fan load and noise in the development of new energy vehicles.

    A Torque Control Method for Ramp Starting of New Energy Vehicles

    In view of the shortcomings of the current control strategy of new energy vehicles on ramp starting that has poor effect or needs to increase costs, this paper refers to a torque control method for new energy vehicles on ramp starting. When the vehicle controller recognizes that the driver releases the brake pedal at a rate exceeding a certain rate, it applies a certain pre tightening torque in advance. This pre tightening torque is the minimum torque that the vehicle will not slide on this road slope and braking depth. When the brake pedal is released gradually, the vehicle controller calculates the target driving torque according to the braking depth. When the calculated target driving torque is greater than the pre tightening torque, the driving torque is executed according to the calculated target driving torque, effectively ensuring that the vehicle can start smoothly on the ramp without slope slipping.

    Simulation Model Design of Electric Vehicle Power Battery Pack

    With the increasing popularity of new energy vehicles, various OEMs have invested more and more in new energy car, and there are more and more car models, and the battery packs corresponding to each model are also different. In order to understand the performance of the battery in the early stage of the battery pack design, this paper designs a simulation model of the power battery pack based on Matlab/Simulink. This simulation model can simulate the temperature change curve, voltage change curve and state of charge change curve of the battery by inputting battery parameters, simulate the precharge time and high voltage output change curve by inputting the parameters of the relay and high voltage system, and simulate the battery by importing the vehicle operating conditions. Real-time status of operation (temperature, voltage, state of charge, etc.). These change curves have important reference value for the selection of cells and the selection of pre-charging resistors. After the curve analysis after simulation, this model is consistent with the electrochemical characteristics of the battery, and the high-voltage change is also consistent with the physical change characteristics, which can be used as a reference for the selection of cells and pre-charging resistors.

    The Influence of Coasting Feedback Style for PHEV’s Electricity Consumption

    New energy vehicles is one of the important parts for environment protection in the future, and the energy feedback technology can be a significant method to make new energy vehicles run efficiently. Energy feedback technology contains two ways, one is coasting, the other is braking feedback. During energy feedback, the mechanical energy can be translated to electric energy by motor, the energy is stored in the battery for further consumption. Based on plug in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), this article is focused on designing various coasting energy feedback methods, tests the electricity consumption at new European driving cycle (NEDC), analyzes the differences among various coasting methods, and provides the direction for calibration.

    Energy Management Strategy of PHEV Based on MC-Q Reinforcement Learning

    The plug-in hybrid is energy efficient, and the energy management strategy among multiple power sources has a great impact on the energy consumption of hybrid vehicles. Taking a run on a fixed line series plug-in hybrid city bus as an example, based on the previous cycles, according to markov theory, the demand for power transformation along with the change of time for the state transition matrix, the random power sequence is generated by probability matrix. Module Q reinforcement learning and training, by using the random power sequence to realize the energy distribution of the city bus real-time optimization control. Simulation results show that the proposed reinforcement learning energy management algorithm can significantly optimize energy consumption compared with the rule control algorithm, and can greatly improve the time efficiency compared with dynamic programming and other global optimization strategies, and realize real-time control.

    Reliability Analysis of Autonomous Emergency Braking System for a Certain Car

    Autonomous driving test scenarios are infinitely rich, extremely complex and inexhaustible, it is difficult for traditional testing methods to comprehensively evaluate the safety of autonomous driving system. Simulation test has the characteristics of high efficiency, low cost and safe test procedure, and has become an important means for autonomous driving test and verification, to test and quantify the reliability of the autonomous driving system, in theory, it is necessary to test all the scenarios, but it is not realistic to exhaust and test all scenarios. Based on the autonomous emergency braking (AEB) algorithm of a certain car, the simulation test system is built, and straight CCRm simulation scenarios are established. This paper takes the Car-to-Car Rear Moving test (CCRm)simulation scenario as example, the Kriging method is used to establish high-quality response surface between scenario variables and system output , and the sensitivity of the scenario variables is quantified through the variance method. Based on the speed distribution of an elevated highway in Hefei, combined with Latin hypercube sampling, the distribution of the minimum relative distance between two vehicles when the autonomous emergency braking system acts under the straight CCRm scenario and the failure probability of the autonomous emergency braking system are obtained. The research results can provide strong support for the evaluation of the autonomous emergency braking system.

    Research on Driving Style Clustering Based on NGSIM Database

    Driving style is used to represent the behavior characteristics of drivers. It is of great value to develop automatic driving technology and formulate personalized driving strategies. Based on the vehicle driving state data in the American NGSIM database, this paper selects nine statistics such as the mean of the absolute value of transverse speed, the standard deviation of the absolute value of transverse speed and the standard deviation of the absolute value of longitudinal speed as the characteristic variables, and uses the dimension reduction algorithm of principal component analysis and K-means clustering algorithm to classify the driving style of the driving data, and divides the driving styles into conservative, general, radical three types. The data analysis shows that the statistics of the mean transverse speed, the mean longitudinal acceleration and the mean transverse and longitudinal impact of the conservative driver are the minimum of the three types, while the corresponding statistics of the radical driver is the maximum of the three, and the general driver is in the middle, which verifies the rationality of this clustering result.

    Simulation Research on Longitudinal and Lateral Motion Control of Intelligent Driving Vehicles

    This paper analyzed the longitudinal and lateral motion characteristics of intelligent driving vehicles, made reasonable assumptions, and established longitudinal and lateral vehicle dynamics models. Set the desired trajectory of the longitudinal and lateral movement of the vehicle separately, control the lateral movement of the vehicle based on the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) method, and use the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller to adjust the longitudinal movement of the vehicle. Combine Carsim software to establish vehicle motion model, and establish vehicle longitudinal and lateral control algorithms in Matlab/Simulink. After simulation analysis, the vehicle longitudinal and lateral motion control algorithm has a good control effect, which makes the simulated vehicle track the expected motion trajectory well.

    Design and Implementation of High-speed Network Based on PCIe Bus

    In order to meet the requirements of high speed and reliable camera data transmission during the driving process of autonomous driving vehicles, a PCI-Express high speed transmission system based on embedded Linux development platform was designed. On the hardware, two SBC-S32V234 development boards of NXP are selected as the nodes of PCIe, and the End Point (EP) is connected to an 8-channel camera through the MAX9286 serial decoder for video acquisition, thus completing the protocol conversion between Camera Serial Interface 2 (CSI-2) and PCIe. The Root Complex (RC) end acts as the data receiver and receives the video sent from the EP end. The EP and RC are connected by two transparent transmission chips, and transparent transmission is carried out between the two chips. On the software, the embedded Linux system is constructed and deployed, and the camera driver and PCIe sending application program are designed. The test results show that the PCIe transmission rate is up to 1.5 Gb/s, which achieves efficient, stable and low delay transmission of video data, providing a new solution for vehicle video transmission.

    In order to quickly identify the differences between different versions of vehicle parts 3D model in the whole life cycle of parts, aiming at the shortcomings of the existing NX function, a 3D model difference recognition solution was proposed, which made full use of the part attributes and took the attributes as the basis for classification, screening and hierarchical comparison. A 3D model difference recognition system was established by using knowledge based engineering (KBE) and knowledge fusion (KF) technology, so as to realize the rapid recognition, visual identification and graphic output of 3D model differences of parts, and improve the efficiency of part design and management.

    Design of a Wave Type Pedestrian Protection Beam

    As an important evaluation index of vehicle safety performance, pedestrian protection safety has been paid more and more attention by the automotive industry and consumers. As a decisive part of leg safety in pedestrian protection, the design of pedestrian protection beam is particularly important. According to the five-star requirements of C-NCAP 2021, the scoring standard of pedestrian protection has become more stringent, so it is imperative to design a pedestrian protection beam that meets the requirements. This paper reports the current situation of pedestrian protection beams, studies the design of common pedestrian protection beams, and puts forward the shortcomings of the current design. At the same time, combined with a newly developed vehicle, a new design scheme meeting the requirements of five-star collision is proposed. The wave structure is used to increase the deformation space of pedestrian legs and improve the leg protection score. The stability of the structure is verified by computer aided engineering (CAE) simulation and experimental verification.

    Fatigue Analysis and Optimization of Spring Tray of a Pickup Front Suspension

    In order to solve the crack failure of spring tray of front suspension for a pickup in test rig fatigue test, firstly the FE model of damper spring tray was built, the stress history of tray was simulated in spring motion process between jounce and rebound, the fatigue life of tray was analyzed by applying Miner Counting Algorithm for acuminated fatigue analysis, and the failure was accurately reproduced. With the enlargement of tray chamfer, the tray has passed test rig experiment and also full vehicle road durability test, which has shown the engineering practicability of this methodology. This has a good guiding significance to the structure design of shock absorber.

    The development in compartment area is normally weak part during the platform modular development and have less experience. In this paper, through in-depth analysis of the main factors affecting the development of the key components in compartment area, combined with the actual impact of the ESSA platform architecture on the development of subsequent cars, after actually a series of problems solving in the serial layout of the compartment area, it summarizes the general development process, hard points and main influencing factors of the modular design of compartment area. This provides a strong support for the continuity of the subsequent development of the series of cars under the platform, the versatility of component layout and the bandwidth adjustment of the compartment area during the evolution of the cars. At the same time, this is also a beneficial exploration of platform modularization in compartment area, which provides some ideas for the modular layout of the upper body as well.

    As an important part of automotive interior trim, the performance of steering wheel has a very important impact on the performance of the whole vehicle. This paper briefly introduces some key points of steering wheel design, and analyzes the stiffness, strength, mode and fatigue life of a steering wheel through finite element analysis technology, so as to assist the design of steering wheel. Through the commonly used finite element analysis software HyperMesh, NASTRAN and Ncode, the corresponding finite element analysis of a steering wheel is carried out, and the analysis results are compared with the relevant design standards of vehicle enterprises. The results show that the steering wheel meets the design requirements.

    This paper mainly aims at the cracking problem of the condenser bracket of the airconditioning system of a certain vehicle model, and proposes a scheme to improve the strength of the condenser bracket. The computer aided engineering (CAE) analysis method is used to establish a finite element model according to the digital model of the condenser bracket and the frame. The sheet metal parts are discretized by SHELL unit, and the concentrated mass is simulated by CONM2 unit, and the maximum stress point is obtained. By optimizing the structure of the condenser bracket, the stress concentration point of the condenser bracket is reduced. Concentration has been significantly improved. It effectively improves the reliability of the air conditioning system, improves the structural strength of the condenser bracket, and meets the basic needs of users.

    EU6b begins to limit the number of particulate (PN) emissions of gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine, fuel injection controlled valve operation (CVO) function can solve this problem and realize the precise multiple injection in ballistic area. Investigate the field injector CVO complaint. The injector is too long deep into the cylinder, and the valve seat temperature of the injector is higher, generate carbon deposition for the residual fuel in the valve sealing surface, will affect the opening response and the CVO function. The results of this study provide a new explanation for carbon deposition in GDI, and also illustrate a reason that affects the CVO function.

    : In order to ensure the accurate selection of the effective standard area for the snake test, two methods of selecting the effective marker area for the snake test, namely, the peak mark and the photoelectric trigger mark were studied and compared. Through simulation and test comparison, the accuracy of the two methods of snake passing speed was found that the speed calculated by the photoelectric trigger mark method was more accurate than that the peak mark method, and the photoelectric trigger mark method could significantly improve the uncertainty of the test results at the reference speed, ensure the accuracy of test results.

    Experimental on Combustion Noise Control of Diesel Engines Employing the Multiple Pilot Fuel Injection Technology

    In order to reduce combustion noise of diesel engine in idle state,a study on the effect of the multiple pilot fuel injection technology on the combustion noise was conducted. A four-cylinder high pressure common rail diesel engine with inline sensors was tested in a semi-anechoic room. According to the experimental data, the effects of the double pilot fuel injection technology on the cylinder pressure, the heat release rate,the pressure rise rate, the combustion noise were analyzed. The test results showed that the double pilot fuel injection technology can reduce the maximum value of the heat release rate and pressure rise rate of the diesel engine, so that the combustion noise of the diesel engine was reduced by an average of 5.2dB. The real vehicle noise was also reduced. The spectrum of the cylinder pressure decreased in the medium to high frequency range. This multiple pilot fuel injection technology was finally applied to this type of diesel engine.

    This paper studies the detection method of surface profile, and solves the problem of evaluating surface profile with PC-DMIS measurement software without surface detection function. Due to the lack of surface construction module in the PC-DMIS measurement software, it is impossible to directly measure the surface elements and evaluate the surface profile. Combined with the definition and calculation principle of the surface profile tolerance zone, the surface to be evaluated can be regarded as a combination of countless single points, and the three-dimensional construction software is used to construct and extract the theoretical position data of the required single point on the surface to be measured. Then, through the evaluation of single point position deviation, the evaluation of surface profile is indirectly realized.

    Influence of Vibration Signal Extraction Method on Dynamic Balance Accuracy

    In the rotor dynamic balance system, the extraction of fundamental frequency amplitude and phase of vibration signal plays an important role in calculating the accuracy of rotor imbalance. In view of the large error in the calculated rotor unbalance caused by the traditional method of extracting the amplitude and phase of vibration signal, a peak difference method is proposed to extract the amplitude and phase of rotor vibration signal. The peak difference method, correlation method and fast fourier transform (FFT) method are written into LabView rotor dynamic balance vibration signal amplitude and phase extraction program respectively. The rotor dynamic balance experiment is carried out, and the rotor unbalance calculated by the three methods is analyzed and compared. The experimental results show that compared with the correlation method and FFT method, using the peak difference method as the program to extract the amplitude and phase of the fundamental frequency of the vibration signal in the rotor dynamic balance system, the calculated rotor unbalance error is smaller and more accurate.

    Variable stiffness composite helical spring, not only has excellent lightweight effect, but also through the change of stiffness, improves the comfort of the vehicle. At present, the design theory of variable stiffness composite helical spring is not perfect, this paper based on the theory of composite laminates, combined with the principle of variable stiffness of helical spring, a stiffness prediction model of variable stiffness composite helical spring is established. Based on the stiffness prediction model of the variable stiffness composite helical spring, the sensitivity of the influence of the structural parameters on the stiffness is analyzed, among them, the influence of structure parameters on the radius of the spring wire > the middle diameter > the number of effective rings > the radius of the mandrel. The stiffness prediction model and influence sensitivity analysis derived in this paper can quickly guide the structural design of variable stiffness composite helical springs.

    In the manufacturing process of body in white (BIW), the surface quality of BIW is easy to be caused due to the unstable position of parts and fixtures and some serious defects can also cause other risk problems. This paper expounds the solution to the problem of parts deformation caused by the mismatch of upper and lower manufacturing accuracy in the manufacturing process of a vehicle model, without new investment. In the process of analysis and investigation, the flow chart analysis method is used to identify the point of occurrence of the problem; In the process of solving the problem, on the one hand, improve the precision of low precision links, on the other hand, increase the fault tolerance of high precision links. Through the combined adjustment of these two aspects, and the surface quality defect is avoided, thereby reducing the higher rework cost and eliminating the risk point affecting the sealing of the wiring harness hole.

    In view of the personalized loading and configuration needs of end users, more and more commercial cars are put on the market in the form of chassis. During the waiting turnover and storage period of the installation, the chassis is exposed to the atmosphere for a long time, suffering from various environmental tests such as wind, rain and exposure, which brings the rust risk of the chassis turnover and storage period. In order to improve the appearance quality and rust resistance ability of the company's commercial automobile chassis, and enhance the market competitiveness of the products, this article compares and studies the four typical overall protective coating spraying processes of the commercial automobile chassis in the industry. According to the best selected spraying technology tissue test injection and market verification, a water-based dural chassis protective wax spraying technology is explored. The research results can be used for reference by the process technicians of domestic commercial vehicle production enterprises.

    Striving for the improvement of degree system, we need to develop vocational education at the undergraduate level, which helps vocational education transition into type education. Professional undergraduate construction of new energy vehicle engineering technology, in addition to the study of theory major, we should pay more attention to the cultivation of students' vocational skills. Students need to be trained in new energy automobile training bases, especially the intelligent network automotive laboratory, which can better train students’ practical skills and improve students’ core competitiveness. The paper conducts preliminary exploration on the construction of vocational undergraduate new energy automotive engineering technology professional intelligent networks, which also provides a high-level training base construction plan,and a certain reference for vocational undergraduate colleges to build a high-level training base under current circumstances.

    Face to the major demand for the student education of vehicle engineering under the background of national "three new and one high" and "new four modernizations" of automobile, the study aims to solve the common problem of poor effect of ideological and political teaching in the course of automobile design. The work breaks the original form of simply teaching professional knowledge, and focus on the construction of the two horizontal curriculum network as new curriculum content system and new teaching mode, and the two-vertical teacher-student network as transformation of students learning mode and transformation of teachers’role, integrates professional knowledge and ideological and political education to form a teaching reform mode. And more over constructs the ideological and political teaching methods with the basic stage, application stage and innovation stage. The purpose is to propose a new framework of ideological and political reform of automobile design course, and realize the new teaching mode in automobile design professional course coincided with the ideological and political education.

    Under the background of new engineering construction, in order to improve the quality of applied courses, the course "Automobile Chassis Construction" is constructed according to students' learning characteristics and training objectives. Adhering to the student-centered concept, we have built the course positioning, course objectives and course resources, explored the teaching methods, and gradually formed a whole-process learning and education model of "four in one", which includes pre-class online learning, in-class classroom learning, after-class library laboratory expansion learning, off-campus competition and academic conference and other practical learning. At the same time, it has formed a teaching system of multiple cooperative education, such as competition-driven teaching and research feeding teaching. After nearly five years of practice test, it has played an important role in cultivating students' professional confidence and students' ability, and has achieved obvious results, which provides a reference for the construction of first-class engineering undergraduate courses for application-oriented undergraduates.

    With the development of information technology, the blended teaching mode based on online teaching platform has become a growing trend. Taking the design of the teaching process of “Mechanical Fundamentals” as the research object, we adopt a comparative research method to study Learning Platform and the teaching mode of BOPPPS, propose the idea of using the Learning Platform to convert mobile phones into teaching tools and combined with BOPPPS to design a blended teaching mode, and design a blended teaching mode based on Learning Platform and BOPPPS, implement a teaching experiment based on this model, and take the chapter of "wheel system" in the common mechanical transmission of automobile as an example. The result shows that this model can improve the teaching effect of the course and provide a reference for the reform of the teaching mode of higher vocational courses.

In particular, some parameters are easy to be confused, such as detection precision, detection accuracy and detection resolution, frame rate and point rate.     In order to study the basic operation status of pure electric buses, the operation and development status of pure electric buses is analyzed by comparing the operation and promotion of pure electric buses and the problems existing in the promotion, the factors affecting their operation efficiency are analyzed, the problems existing in the current pure electric bus operation are put forward, and reasonable suggestions are put forward in four aspects: technical innovation, infrastructure, vehicle scheduling plan and procurement plan. The results show that the popularization and application of pure electric buses in China is still in the primary stage, and there is still much room for development in key technologies, infrastructure, operation and promotion mode, product quality standards, etc. the operation effect has problems such as the unbalanced development of the East and the West.
