    State of Health Estimation of Lithium-ion Batteries for Vehicles

    Lithium-ion batteries are the main source of power for new energy vehicles, and their status of health estimation is closely related to battery maintenance, repair, and replacement. In this paper, battery capacity is selected as a direct health factor, three indirect health factors are extracted based on battery charging voltage curve, and the correlation between them and capacity is calculated using Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients. The results show that the correlation between charge time equal voltage and capacity is the highest. Gaussian process regression (GPR) algorithm is selected to establish the state of health (SOH) estimation model, and conjugate gradient method (CGM) is selected to calculate the hyper parameter of the model, which can better estimate the SOH of lithium-ion batteries.

    Analysis and Optimization of Motor Whine in an Electric Pickup Truck

    When accelerating to 60~100 km/h, a high-frequency whine problem occur in an electric pickup truck. For motor excitation source, the structure and manufacturing process are deeply analyzed in this paper, and the influence of magnetic block flux tolerance, rotor thickness and rotor manufacturing technology on motor whine is studied. For the vehicle transmission path, the influence on motor whine of drive shaft mode and motor end cover mode is analyzed by finite element method and experimental modal method. Finally, by improving frequence of motor end cover mode, adding sound-absorbing paper to drive shaft tube and improving the manufacturing process of rotor, the 48th order motor noise in vehicle is optimized by 6~10 dB(A), which effectively solves the motor whine problem of the electric pickup truck.

    Optimization Design of New Energy Vehicle Electric Drive Rear Axle Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

    The drive motor is one of the key components of the powertrain of new energy vehicles, and its performance index directly affects the quality of vehicle power output. With reference to the performance indicators of a new energy vehicle, permanent magnet synchronous motor is selected as the electric rear axle drive motor. The power, speed, torque and other key parameters of the motor are obtained through calculation. Based on the performance parameters of the motor, the motor structure parameters are selected. Based on MotorCad software, parametric method is used to reduce the peak of tooth groove torque as the optimization objective, the thickness, width and air gap length of the motor permanent magnet are optimized, and the efficiency MAP and external characteristic diagram of the motor are obtained. The results show that the cogging torque is significantly reduced compared with that before optimization. By selecting the driving China light-duty vehicle test cycle-passenger (CLTC-P) for simulation analysis, the rationality of the optimization design of permanent magnet synchronous motor is verified.

    Simulation Analysis of Fuel Cell Thermal Management System

    In this paper, 120 kW hydrogen fuel cell system is taken as the research object, combined with thermal management requirements, the control strategy is simulated and analyzed. The simulation model of the hydrogen fuel cell thermal management system is built by AMESim software. The heat production of the reactor and the intercooler is taken as the input condition, and the inlet temperature of the reactor and the inlet and outlet temperature difference are taken as the evaluation index. Firstly, the simulation calculation of the rated working conditions is carried out, and it is obtained that under the rated working conditions, the inlet temperature of the reactor is 72.8 ℃, the outlet temperature is 79.1 ℃, and the temperature difference is 6.3 ℃. The water pump and heat sink meet the heat dissipation requirements. Then the full power simulation analysis shows that the water pump, fan and thermostat can well respond to the temperature change, and with the increase of heat generation, the inlet temperature of the reactor can be maintained within 75 ℃, and the temperature difference can be maintained within 8 ℃ , which meets the temperature control requirements of the reactor.

    Power System Integration and Matching Analysis of Extended Range Electric Bus

    Extended range electric bus have the characteristics of pure electric driving and longdistance extended range driving, which can alleviate the concern of pure electric bus mileage. According to the market demand and practical application scenarios, the performance matching design of the drive motor, power battery, range extender-assembly and other core components of the extender-range electric bus power system is carried out in this paper, and the dynamics model of the vehicle power system is established in the software platform of MATLAB-Simulink. Based on the use characteristics of pure electricity as the main and extended range as the auxiliary, the overall working strategy of the extended range power system is formulated, and then the cruise maintenance power at common speed and at high speed is calculated, and the output power of the range extender and the energy change of the power battery are simulated and analyzed under the China heavy-duty commercial vehicle test cycle-city coaches (CHTC-C) integrated working condition. The results show that the smaller the output power of the range extender, the more drive energy needed to be compensated by the power battery. When reaching a certain economic power, the power of the power battery is basically balanced. Compared with the traditional way of matching range extender power under a single working condition, this paper analyzes range extender power under multiple working conditions considering the specific needs of specific scenarios, providing ideas for the selection of range extender and the improvement of subsequent power follow strategy.

    Design of Vehicle Right Turn Auxiliary System Based on Distance Sensor

    In order to solve the problem of insufficient vision of the right non-motorized lane in the process of right turning, this paper proposes to install the ranging sensor in the front of the car to solve the problem. When the right turn signal is turned on, or the steering wheel turns right beyond the limit angle, the sensor starts to work, measure the position of the right pedestrian relative to the vehicle, forward speed, forward direction, and compare with the vehicle running track, calculate the possible collision time and collision point, and reflect on the center control screen to remind the driver to perform relevant operations. After research, it is found that when the vehicle turns to the right of 20°/40°, it is easy to misjudge the non-motorized lane. The system reminds the driver by image and sound to avoid traffic accidents.

    With the development of the automobile industry, people are becoming more and more intelligent requirements for vehicles, rain sensor has become an essential part of the automobile, at the same time in the rainy driving process, rain sensor can automatically control the wiper system and make the driver's attention more concentrated, without distraction to control the wiper system which improve the safety of driving. Therefore, this paper is mainly to study the strategy of the rainfall sensor in the process of automobile driving, from the working principle of the product, software algorithm logic, application conditions and other aspects of research and explanation, through the wiper strategy to achieve intelligent automatic wiper control, bring convenience to the driver, improve the use of vehicle comfort. Based on this software strategy, finally through the driving experience of test engineers and drivers, different rainfall conditions can be distinguished in a better area, which effectively improves the effect of automatic scraping, improves the stability of wiper control, and solves the problem of slow stop and scraping in tunnel mode.

    Analyzing and utilizing the technical information recorded in patents can effectively assist in determining research and development directions, improving research and development efficiency, and reducing the risk of duplicate research and development. The article first introduces the concept of the internet of vehicles, and then uses patent analysis methods to analyze the macro development trend of the internet of vehicles patents from the perspectives of patent application trends, patent geographical distribution, patent applicants, etc. It identifies the characteristics of patent layout in the segmented fields of the internet of vehicles in China and the necessary patent risks in the field of communication standards for the internet of vehicles. Finally, suggestions for the development of the internet of vehicles patents are provided, to provide reference for domestic related enterprises in their patent strategies and research and development directions in this field.

    The Online Detection Platform of Engine Abnormal Noise Based on GS-SVM

    In order to solve the problems of high labor intensity, low work efficiency and fluctuating accuracy rate in engine abnormal noise recognition using manual auscultation, this paper proposes an online detection technology for engine abnormal noise based on grid search- support vector machine (GS-SVM). The platform mainly includes functions such as speed monito- ring, signal acquisition, signal denoising, feature extraction, and pattern recognition, and the LabVIEW software is responsible for monitoring engine speed and collecting signals, and transmitting the signals to the MATLAB interface. Firstly, the wavelet correlation filtering method is used to remove background noise in MATLAB software; Then, wavelet packet transform and bispectral estimation are used to extract signal features, and the normalized signal features are used as input vectors for support vector machine pattern recognition; Next, select the classifier-support vector machine (C-SVC) and radial basis function (RBF), and use an improved grid search method to optimize the parameters c and g to establish a classification model; Finally, use the trained and mature model to predict the type of abnormal noise. After testing, the accuracy of this method is over 90%, which has a certain engineering significance.

    This paper elaborates from three aspects,the detection of driving state, the judgment of fatigue and the design of anti-fatigue device. First, the truck driver's state information is collected, and then transmitted to the system host to judge whether the driver is tired. When the judgment exceeds the threshold, the signal can be transmitted to the actuator, and the actuator such as light- emitting diode (LED) light flashing, buzzer and seat vibration will give the driver a warning of fatigue driving at the same time, so as to wake the driver up. This paper provides a practical scheme for a truck to prevent fatigue driving, reduce the phenomenon of fatigue driving, reduce the traffic accident rate, and ensure the safety of traffic travel.

    Based on the formula society of automotive engineers (FSAE) competition rules, the requirements of the race on the suspension performance of the racing car are analyzed, the relevant dynamic parameters are calculated, the form of the suspension system is determined and modeled in CATIA. In ADAMS, the kinematics model of the suspension is constructed, and the variation range of the relevant performance index parameters of the suspension model during the wheel jump analysis is analyzed. The simulation results show that the designed suspension system meets the requirements of the rules, but the wheel alignment parameters change greatly with the vertical displacement of the wheel, which is not conducive to the handling stability. In ADAMS/Insight, the design of experimen (DOE) analysis and optimization of the hard point coordinates of the model are carried out based on the positioning parameters of the wheels. The comparison results show that the amount of change in wheel alignment parameters when the wheel runout after optimization is significantly reduced, and the performance of the car is well improved.

    The optimization design of a certain car's braking system based on the vehicle matching aims to simplify the brake design process while meeting relevant regulations. By integrating the vehicle performance parameters with the design of disc brakes, a design strategy for disc brakes is formulated. Through calculations of the maximum braking torque on each wheel during the braking process and selecting the synchronous adhesion coefficient for the car, the key design parameters and materials for the main components of the disc brakes are determined and verified to comply with the requirements of relevant regulations. Finally, computer aided design (CAD) and UG software are utilized to complete the drawing of main parts and three-dimensional modeling. This optimized the design process of automotive brakes while meeting the requirements of relevant regulations, and lays the foundation for subsequent research on brake noise and other issues.

    The study of multidimensional optimization B-pillar aims to deal with the problems of complex, high probability and high risk side impact in actual road. Based on the interpretation of relevant regulations and standards of passive safety about side impact in China, the requirements and characteristics of working conditions are summarized, to conclude the characteristic of B-pillar design in side impact, and come up with the design idea of B-pillar deformation mode. Combined with the actual development case of an sport utility vehicle (SUV) mode, the B-pillar compatibility is designed considering all the requirements of side working conditions, proposed an economical and effective design plans with validated. The design idea can provide reference for the design of B-pillar structure to other vehicles.

    Design and Analysis of Aerodynamic Package for Formula Racing

    The aerodynamic package provides reliable downforce for formula racing while also playing a role in tidying up turbulence. This article analyzes the design of the aerodynamic package based on computational fluid dynamics. The finite element method is used to calculate the impact of flaps at different angles of attack, analyze the benefits of different grid models, and optimize the design of the aerodynamic package for formula racing vehicles. It is found that using the Poly-Hexcore grid model has the lowest computational time and the best benefits for some airfoils. The causes of tail vortex generation are analyzed and dealt with by arranging tail gaps. This article aims to design the aerodynamic package for formula racing with the goal of high aerodynamic performance and illustrates the optimization process, providing a theoretical basis for the design of the vehicle's empty jacket.

    This article proposes an equivalent calculation method for the equivalent liquid flow length and equivalent liquid flow diameter of different shapes of lubricating oil passages in the transmission during the forward development and design process of transmission products, taking into account the heat dissipation requirements of some components such as bearings and clutches in the mechanical body of the transmission. This is used as the basis for setting parameters in the simulation model, the cooling lubrication flow rate in the hydraulic lubrication system of the transmission is simulated using AMESim simulation software, and the flow distribution status under the maximum power, maximum speed, and maximum torque conditions of the transmission is calculated. The final flow distribution plan is determined through continuous iterative calculations.

    The efficiency of the drive axle changes constantly with changes in input torque and speed. In order to improve its accuracy in vehicle performance calculation applications, by exploring the variation law of the system resistance torque under transient conditions of the drive axle, a formula for the variation of the drive axle resistance torque and input torque and speed is established to achieve accurate calculation of the drive axle efficiency under dynamic working conditions. By verifying the accuracy of several existing sets of drive axle resistance torque results, it is shown that the transient efficiency calculation formula of the drive axle established through the resistance torque method not only simplifies the difficulty of system calculation, but also improves the accuracy of vehicle performance calculation. It can be extended to the efficiency calculation of other system efficiency calculation, and can also simplify the number of test points for drive axle efficiency.

    Insect-proof net is an important part to protect the water tank and condenser. The insectproof net described in this paper is a metal insect-proof net assembled in the inside of the grille. In order to solve the problems of insect-proof net falling off and uneven assembly, this paper compares the installation methods of insect-proof net for a variety of domestic and foreign models. After sample test and assembly of sample vehicles, combined with the structural characteristics, production and assembly cycle, cost and other factors of sample parts, the hot melt welding connection method is finally determined as the optimal installation method at present, and the specific performance of the screw fixed insect-proof net scheme is compared. The advantages and disadvantages of the hot melt welding scheme are summarized, and the problems of glue leakage and adhesion are solved by using baffle and laminate and reasonable layout of hot melting point through technical optimization.

    Lightweight Design of a Light Truck Battery and Fixed Support

    To implement the national energy-saving and emission reduction policy requirements, carry out research and design on vehicle lightweight, reduce the curb weight of light trucks, and improve fuel economy performance, a light truck in this article uses a new type of lithium battery instead of the traditional lead-acid battery, and carries out extrusion resistance test, impact resistance test and cold start test. The test results meet the target requirements, and the weight of the battery is reduced to 5.5 kg, achieving a weight loss of 15 kg. At the same time, computer aided engineering (CAE) simulation software is used to carry out lightweight design of the battery fixing bracket, and the acceleration data of the battery bracket under the real vehicle is used as the input incentive to carry out CAE strength analysis. The test results meet the target requirements, and the weight is reduced by 1.2 kg, and the lightweight effect is remarkable.

    Optimization on the Problem of Low-frequency Road Noise and Booming for a MPV Model

    In view of the low-frequency road noise and booming problem in the development process of a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), the transmission path and response of the vehicle are analyzed, and it is determined that the roar problem is caused by the modal of tailgate and the road excitation resonance. The optimization effect of the tailgate limit block stiffness, the tailgate dynamic vibration absorber and the tailgate composite body solutions (CBS) are studies in this paper. Finally, the solution of adding the tailgate CBS is selected to solve the problem of low-frequency road noise and booming, and effectively improve the riding quality of the vehicle.

    In order to study the early faults of the electric drive assembly of new energy vehicles, early fault analysis equipment is used to monitor the vibration of the durability test of the electric drive assembly of new energy vehicles. The results of theoretical analysis and actual monitoring indicate that the early fault analysis equipment accurately predicted the trend of damage at the fault location. Accurately diagnose early faults of the electric drive assembly, it can terminate the test timely, avoid transitional damage to the sample and bench, and quickly locate the fault location to shorten the product development cycle.

    Fault Diagnosis of Automobile Transmission System Based on Autoregressive Moving Model

    Aiming at the complex fault set of automobile transmission system, a fault diagnosis algorithm based on autoregressive moving model is proposed. Based on the random difference theory, the timing model of the fault signal is constructed, and various parameters affecting the sequence value are determined. The original fault data is collected, and A/D conversion and data standardization are carried out. In order to retain the original features of the discrete data and reduce the interference of system noise, two-dimensional texture images are formed by using the concept of data dimension enhancement. Local binary feature operators are used to extract the details of two- dimensional images. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has better fault feature classification performance and sample test consistency, with an average diagnosis accuracy of 99.27%.

    In the winter environment of a new energy model in the northern market, the conventional small rolling road conditions and braking conditions will appear "squelch" abnormal noise. The paper uses fault tree analysis to analyse and verify the vehicle's operating environment, bushing structure and other aspects, and identifies the bushing structure as the main cause of the noise. After the improvement of the bushing structure, performance tests related to the bushing are conducted, such as low temperature pull-off force, bushing stiffness, fatigue endurance, comprehensive road test and other related performance verification. Simultaneously, the vehicle's handling stability and driving comfort are also verified to ensure that the bushing structure change do not cause significant changes in other performance. Finally, the aftermarket complaint rate is monitored: six months after the changeover is completed, the number of complaints in the aftermarket had effectively dropped from 116 between January and March of the first year to one between January and March of the second year, a significant reduction in the complaint rate, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of the programme.

    Hole feature combination (short for: hole group) form which design characteristics are heavy workload but simple repetition is widely applied in the design of automotive welding fixture. To improve the design efficiency of hole group in automotive welding fixture, programs a rapid designing application tool for automotive welding fixture hole group based on CATIA Automation secondary development technology. This application tool can improve the design efficiency of automotive welding fixture hole group greatly. By the test verification in the real design atmosphere, the hole group tool improves the design efficiency nearly 70%. Furthermore, the research in this paper lays a certain foundation for the intelligent design of welding fixture in the future.

    As battery carrier, the quality of battery tray is related to the service life of battery system, the burr and splash generated will impact installation of battery tray and need grinding. This paper mainly analyzes the auto grinding use in the manufacturing process of battery tray, combine with the grinding example and the current status of grinding technology, introduce the automatic grinding station scheme and system composition based on a certain project. At present, laser welding is widely used in lithium-ion battery manufacturing, such as module Busbar welding. Laser welding has many advantages, such as high welding speed, small deformation and high precision, it also has higher requirements for tooling and welding parameters. Reflective lens and other components, different equipments have similar welding properties, and welding parameters have mutual influence, which jointly affect the welding quality. In order to obtain better welding quality, in addition to the basic functional performance acceptance of new equipment, the influence between equipment parameters should be further obtained, so it is necessary to verify the parameters of laser welding equipment in an all-round way. It has become an important research aspect for welding process engineers to carry out multi-factor parameter verification tests and study the influence of the interaction between equipment parameters on welding quality. In this paper, the commonly used welding parameters are selected for design of experimen (DOE) verification, and the degree of factor interaction is obtained, and the theoretical optimal solution is calculated and optimized by Minitab tool.

    Under the background of the rapid development of the domestic new energy vehicle industry, domestic undergraduate universities have carried out corresponding reforms on professional courses in vehicle.     Safety Analysis of Unsignalized Road Sections Based on Vehicle Headway

    On the road section without signal control, pedestrian crossing behavior is an important factor that interferes with the normal driving of mixed traffic flow. Disturbed vehicles are usually accompanied by drivers' driving behaviors such as rapid acceleration and rapid deceleration, which will cause unnecessary increase in vehicle energy consumption. In this paper, aiming at the influence of pedestrians crossing the street on mixed traffic flow on the road section, the relationship between pedestrian crossing time and headway is analyzed, and the road safety is classified according to the results of road safety questionnaire survey, so that the safety analysis model of the road section without signal based on headway is put forward, and the feasibility of the model is verified by solving an example. The results show that the road safety analyzed by the model is in good agreement with the analysis results based on the headway distribution and the subjective safety feeling results of pedestrians crossing the street. With the improvement of road safety, the rapid acceleration and deceleration of mixed traffic flow are significantly reduced, which can provide some reference for the study of ecological driving concept under mixed traffic flow.

    In response to the problem of low traffic efficiency at intersections in the city due to the traditional rotation of traffic lights, this article proposes to rely on intersection camera image recognition technology and intelligently control the direction and duration of the intersection based on the dynamic data of vehicles queuing at each intersection. Considering that people want to queue as little as possible while not wanting their own queue length to be much longer than others' queue length, this article comprehensively considers minimizing the total queue length at intersections and minimizing the variance of queue length in each direction. The control strategy that minimizes the final result by weighting and summing the two factors is the optimal strategy. In order to compare with the alternate traffic strategy, this article uses computer generated simulation data based on field observations to calculate and compare, in order to achieve the optimal dynamic control strategy for intelligent traffic signals.

Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the development status and existing problems of the electric vehicle maintenance industry, providing theoretical reference for establishing and improving the maintenance system of the electric vehicle industry. This article analyzes the existing problems in the electric vehicle maintenance industry from three aspects: market, maintenance equipment, and talent.     Ecological driving improves fuel economy and reduces vehicle emissions by changing the driver's driving behavior, such as starting smoothly, avoiding sharp acceleration and deceleration, and avoiding prolonged idling. In order to clarify the impact of driving behavior on ecological driving, this paper sorts out the research status of driving behavior and ecological driving by domestic and foreign scholars in recent years, and introduces the ecological driving assistance system that applies ecological driving technology in practice. Combined with the ecological driving research method of fuel vehicles, the ecological driving behavior of pure electric buses is analyzed. It is found that driving behaviors such as increasing vehicle speed, avoiding low-speed driving, controlling acceleration in a small range, and slowly pressing the accelerator pedal can effectively reduce fuel consumption and achieve energy saving and emission reduction, and for pure electric vehicles, excess energy can be recovered through reasonable braking and deceleration. It provides a new idea for evaluating the driver's ecological driving behavior and improving the level of ecological driving.
