Research and Optimization of the Liftgate Cavity Noise Issue on a SUV

某 SUV 尾门空腔噪声问题研究与优化

Abstract: During the wind noise driving evaluation of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in the development stage, it is found that obvious abnormal noise from the rear area could be heard in the vehicle when the speed is above 90 km/h. It is diagnosed the noise is generated at gap between the liftgate and the roof panel, and then it is determined to be the problem of cavity noise by the structure. Aiming at the cavity noise issue, the principle of cavity noise is studied firstly. Then the schemes of spoiler structure, sealing strip, margin and flushness adjustment between the liftgate and the roof panel are studied. After batch verification, the method of adding sealing strip is selected to solve the problem. Finally, the lessons learned are summarized, and design standards are established for the development of subsequent models to avoid the liftgate cavity noise.

摘要: 某运动型多用途汽车(SUV)在开发阶段,风噪驾评时,发现车速在 90 km/h 以上时, 车内可以听到来自后部区域的明显异常噪声。经诊断,该噪声产生部位为尾门与顶盖接合缝 隙处,进一步分析该处结构是由车身顶盖、尾门、尾门密封条组成的空腔,根据风噪的分类, 可以确定该问题属于空腔噪声问题。针对该问题,首先研究尾门空腔噪声产生的机理;然后 研究扰流结构、密封条、调整尾门与顶盖间隙面差等方案;经批量验证,选取了增加尾门缝 隙条的方式解决了该问题;最后总结经验教训,制定设计标准,避免后续的开发车型出现尾 门空腔噪声问题。
