PHEB Energy Consumption Analysis Based on Global Optimization Strategy

Abstract: The performance of energy management between multiple power sources has a greater impact on the energy consumption of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Thus, this paper takes a plug-in hybrid electric bus as the research object, and uses the control strategy, dynamic programming (DP) strategy and pontryagin's minimum principle (PMP) strategy based on global optimization to calculate and analyze the energy consumption of the vehicle. Firstly, the vehicle model and sub-component model are established based on MATLAB, and the energy consumption under DP and PMP strategy is simulated and calculated under the Chinese typical urban bus driving cycle, and the energy consumption under traditional charge depleting-charge sustaining (CD-CS) strategy is compared. The results show that both the DP and PMP strategies can make the state of charge (SOC) of the power battery change almost linearly in the whole process, and achieve the overall optimal control effect. Compared with CD-CS strategy, the energy consumption of DP strategy is reduced by 15.12%, but the huge amount of computing is not negligible. Compared with the CD-CS strategy, the PMP strategy reduces the energy consumption by 14.28%, but it is difficult to determine the initial co-state variables.

摘要: 多动力源之间能量管理的优劣对插电式混合动力汽车的能耗有着较大的影响,故文章 以一辆插电式混合动力城市客车为研究对象,使用基于全局优化的控制策略,动态规划(DP) 策略和庞特里亚金最小值原理(PMP)策略对整车的能耗进行计算分析。首先基于 MATLAB 建立串联型插电式混合动力城市客车的整车模型及各分部件模型,在中国典型城市公交行驶 工况下,分别仿真计算 DP 策略和 PMP 下的能耗情况,与传统的消耗-维持(CD-CS)策略的 能耗进行对比。结果表明,DP 和 PMP 策略皆可使得动力电池荷电状态(SOC)在整个过程 近乎呈线性变化,达到全局最优的控制效果。DP 策略较 CD-CS 策略能耗降低了 15.12%,但 计算量巨大;PMP 策略较 CD-CS 策略能耗降低了 14.28%,但初始协态变量确定难度较大。
