Abstract: Antilock brake system (ABS) and electronic stability controller (ESC) act as important active safety systems on vehicles. GB 7258 already mandates that every vehicle is supposed to be equipped with ABS system. With the implementation of JT-T 1178.1, Safety Specification for Commercial Vehicle for Cargos Transportation—Part 1:Goods Vehicle, cargo trucks with gross mass greater than or equal to 12 t and speed over 90 km/h are supposed to be equipped with the ESC systems. Aiming at the application of ABS system with the layout of 4S/4M on 8×4 heavy-duty cargo trucks, this paper establishes a mathematical model.Based on the braking performance characteristics of trucks, through theoretical calculation and experimental verification, it is concluded that the rationality of of the ABS wheel speed sensor for 8×4 cargo trucks arranged on the second and fourth axles,which can significantly increase the braking performance and ESC performance of the trucks.

摘要: 防抱死制动系统(ABS)和电子稳定性控制系统(ESC)作为汽车重要的主动安全系 统,GB 7258 早已规定所有汽车均需配备 ABS 系统,随着 JT-T 1178.1《营运货车安全技术条 件》的实施,要求总质量大于等于 12 t 且车速超过 90 km/h 的载货汽车需配备 ESC 系统。论 文针对 4S/4M 配置形式的 ABS 系统在 8×4 重型载货车上的应用,建立数学模型,基于整车 制动性能特性,通过理论计算和试验验证,得出对于 8×4 载货车 ABS 轮速传感器布置于第 2 轴和 4 轴的合理性,车辆的制动性能和 ESC 性能都有很大提升。
