Abstract: This study aims to assess the impact of the increased collision speed, as stipulated in the 2024 version of the China-new car assessment program (C-NCAP), on the crashworthiness of sedan, sport utility vehicle (SUV), and multi-purpose vehicles (MPV) vehicle models. Through finite element simulation methods, it is observed that raising the speed from (50+1) km/h to (55+1) km/h resulted in increased intrusion of the front panel, a rise in the peak acceleration of the occupant compartment, and an approximately 4g increase in overall load cases (OLC). Simultaneously, the safety performance of the driver's side restraint system deteriorated, with an elevated risk of head contact with the steering wheel and a decrease in chest compression. In response to these findings, optimization strategies are proposed, serving as valuable references for the passive safety development under the 2024 C-NCAP standards. Additionally, these suggestions offer strategic guidance for early-phase passive safety optimization in the automotive industry.

摘要： 为评估 2024 版中国新车评价规程（C-NCAP）中碰撞速度提升对轿车、运动型多用途 汽车（SUV）和多用途汽车（MPV）三种车型耐撞性的影响。通过有限元仿真方法发现，速 度由（50+1）km/h 提升至（55+1）km/h 后，车身前围板入侵量增大，乘员舱加速度峰值及 乘员载荷准则（OLC）增加约 4g。同时，驾驶员侧约束系统安全性能下降，头部接触方向盘 风险增大，胸部压缩量变差。为应对此问题，提出优化方案，为 2024 版 C-NCAP 被动安全开 发提供参考，并为主机厂前期被动安全优化开发提供策略指导。
