Abstract: In the 2021 version of the China-new car assessment programme (C-NCAP) evaluation charter, the frontal 50% overlapped moving progressively deformable barrier (MPDB) crash test replaced the original frontal 40% overlapped deformable barrier (ODB) crash test, and was proposed for the first time the requirements for the assessment of vehicle crash compatibility indicators have been met. In order to ensure that the vehicle crash compatibility index meets the requirements in the detailed design stage, it is necessary to carry out a crash compatibility optimization analysis on the vehicle. In this paper, the finite element crash simulation modeling and MPDB working condition analysis of a medium-sized sport utility vehicle (SUV) are firstly carried out, and a crash compatibility optimization scheme is proposed, and finally the computer aided engineering (CAE) comparison and verification are carried out. The results show that by increasing the effective contact area between the front end of the vehicle and the barrier and matching the body stiffness, the compatibility penalty of the whole vehicle can be greatly reduced, and it also provides a reference for the design and development of subsequent new cars.

摘要: 在 2021 版中国新车评价规程(C-NCAP)中,正面 50%重叠移动渐进变形壁障碰撞试 验(MPDB)取代了原有的正面 40%重叠可变形壁障碰撞试验(ODB),并首次提出了整车碰 撞兼容性指标考核要求。为了确保整车碰撞兼容性指标在详细设计阶段满足要求,需要对整 车进行碰撞兼容性优化分析。文章首先对某款中型运动型多用途汽车(SUV)进行有限元碰 撞仿真建模与 MPDB 工况分析,提出碰撞兼容性优化方案,最终进行计算机辅助工程(CAE) 对比验证。结果表明,通过增加车辆前端与壁障之间的有效接触面积,并进行车身刚度匹配, 可大幅度降低整车兼容性罚分,同时也为后续新车型设计开发提供参考依据。
