Abstract: Sunlight irradiation is one of the main reasons for damaging automotive polymer materials. This paper adopts the method of comparative research, and compares the advantages, disadvantages and applicability of four light aging test methods: carbon arc lamp test method, fluorescent ultraviolet lamp test method, xenon arc lamp test method and metal halogen lamp test method, so that testers can adopt appropriate methods for light aging test, so as to shorten the test cycle, accurately evaluate product quality and quickly screen problem products. In order to ensure the accuracy of the test, this study also proposed the principles of spectral similarity, suitable temperature and humidity and how to evaluate the aging results from the aspects of appearance, color, physical properties and so on.Finally, it is concluded that xenon arc lamp test is becoming the mainstream light aging test method.

摘要: 阳光辐照是损害汽车高分子材料的主要原因之一。文章采用比较研究的方法,对比分 析碳弧灯试验法、荧光紫外灯试验法、氙弧灯试验法、金属卤素灯试验法四种光老化试验方 法的优点、不足及适用情况,以便试验者采用合适的方法进行光老化试验,从而缩短试验周 期、精确评估产品质量及快速筛选问题产品。为确保试验的准确性,文章提出在试验时应遵 循光谱相似、温度与湿度适宜等原则及如何从外观状态、颜色、物理性能等方面进行老化结 果评估的方法。最后得出氙弧灯试验法已逐步成为主流光老化试验方法的结论。
