Whistle Issue and Optimization of the Hood Tip on a SUV

某 SUV 引擎盖尖端口哨声问题与优化

Abstract: During the wind noise subjective driving evaluation of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in the development stage, it is found that there are obvious whistles inside the SUV when the speed at 60~ 100 km/h. The noise data is collected and analyzed, and the whistle frequency is identified to be between 1 800~2 200 Hz. Through the diagnosis, the whistle is identified as coming from the tip of the hood. In order to solve the hood tip whistle issue, the principle of hood whistle is studied firstly; Then the schemes of adding cylindrical spoiler structure, adding sealing strip and increasing flushness between hood and front bumper are studied; Then analyzes the implementation of the above three schemes and determine to implement the scheme of increasing flushness between the hood and front bumper to 4.5 mm; Finally, it summarizes the design standards for subsequent models to avoid the hood tip whistle issue.

摘要: 某运动型多用途汽车(SUV)在开发阶段进行风噪主观驾评时,发现当车速在 60~ 100 km/h 时,车内存在明显的口哨声,采集噪声数据进行分析,识别到口哨声频率位于 1 800~ 2 200 Hz。通过风噪“开窗法”进行问题诊断,锁定口哨声产生于引擎盖尖端部位。为解决引 擎盖尖端口哨声问题,首先研究口哨声产生的机理;然后研究增加圆柱体扰流结构、增加前 端密封条,以及增大引擎盖与前保面差等方案;紧接着分析上述三种方案的实施情况,确定 实施引擎盖与前保设计面差增大至 4.5 mm 的方案;最后进行总结,制定设计标准,避免后续 的开发车型出现引擎盖尖端口哨声问题。
