Influence of Low Rolling Resistance Tires on Fuel Consumption of Light Commercial Vehicles

低滚阻轮胎对轻型商用车辆油耗的影响

Abstract: In order to verify the impact of low rolling resistance tires on the fuel consumption of the whole vehicle, a 6T light commercial prototype vehicle of a certain brand is selected and equipped with tires with different rolling resistance coefficients (rolling resistance coefficients: EZ525-7.0‰, AZ630-6.0‰, AZ630-5.5‰). Under different conditions of loading capacity of 75% (loading 4.5T) and full load (loading 6T), the sliding tests and sliding resistance tests are carried out respectively. The fuel consumption test of China heavy-duty commercial vehicle test cycle for truck (CHTC-LT) and China world transient vehicle cycle (C_WTVC) are carried out under the loading condition of 4.5T respectively.Through the test, it is concluded that the fuel consumption of the test vehicle with low rolling resistance tires is significantly lower than that of high rolling resistance coefficient tires. Rolling resistance tires can reduce the fuel consumption of the whole vehicle.

摘要: 为验证低滚阻轮胎对整车油耗的影响,选用某品牌的 6T 轻型商用样车,装配不同滚阻 系数的轮胎(滚阻系数分别为 EZ525-7.0‰、AZ630-6.0‰、AZ630-5.5‰),在装载量为 75% (即装载 4.5T)以及装载量为满载(即装载 6T)的不同条件下,分别进行滑行及滑阻试验; 满载条件下进行次高挡及最高挡等速油耗试验;最后分别在 4.5T 的装载条件下进行中国货车 行驶工况(CHTC-LT)及中国重型商用车瞬态工况(C_WTVC)油耗试验。通过试验得出采 用低滚阻轮胎的试验样车燃油消耗量要明显低于高滚阻系数轮胎,进而验证低滚阻轮胎可降 低整车油耗。
