Abstract: PDCPD material has the advantages of low density, balanced physical properties, excellent surface coating performance, and short molding cycle. It can be used as a substitute for SMC in the appearance of commercial vehicles. This article introduces the application status, molding process and performance characteristics of PDCPD materials at home and abroad. At the same time, the performance, processing technology and cost of PDCPD materials and SMC materials are analyzed and compared, and provides a basis for replacing SMC materials and achieving weight reduction of the whole vehicle.

摘要: 汽车轻量化是目前的主要发展方向,而聚双环戊二烯(PDCPD)材料具有密度低、物 性平衡,兼具高强度与高韧性、表面涂装性能好、成型周期短等优点,可作为 SMC 的替代材 料应用在商用车上,实现汽车轻量化的目的。文章介绍了 PDCPD 材料在国内外的应用现状、 成型工艺及性能特点,同时对 PDCPD 材料与 SMC 材料性能、加工工艺及成本方面进行分析 对比,结果显示 PDCPD 材料的性能与 SMC 性能相似,甚至在某些方面优于 SMC 材料。因 此,PDCPD 材料可作为一种轻量化材料代替 SMC 材料而应用于商用车某些部件,如一般外 观件。
