Abstract: Aiming at the feeding problems caused by high battery energy consumption in different working scenarios during the life cycle of intelligent networked vehicles, an automobile mode management system is designed and developed to reduce the energy consumption of the vehicle electronic control unit (ECU), achieve the purpose of saving battery energy, and help to improve the service life of the battery. Firstly, the demand of power management in vehicle life cycle is analyzed, and the overall design scheme of mode management system is proposed. Secondly, different vehicle modes are defined according to the use scenario, and power saving control is carried out through function degradation. Then, the mode switching logic strategy and the power saving control method of the mode are introduced. Finally, the average static current value is compared between normal mode and transport mode by real vehicle. The analysis shows that the static current of the vehicle is lower in the transportation mode, and the static time of the vehicle is improved to achieve the effect of energy saving, which verifies the effectiveness of the mode management system.
