Abstract: The electric power steering (EPS) system is the core of the steering system in modern automobiles. Its safety and reliability directly affect driving experience and vehicle safety, so it has extremely high requirements for the performance and safety level of the controller chip, and this field has long been monopolized by foreign chips. With the rapid development of the domestic automotive chip industry, the localized application of EPS controller chips has become feasible. Based on software functions, this paper deeply analyzes the hardware requirements of the EPS controller, constructs the hardware architecture of the EPS controller accordingly, and carries out research on the selection of localized chips. In the research, it analyzes in detail the performance parameters and reliability of candidate localized chips, providing a solid basis for chip selection. At the same time, to meet the functional safety requirements of the EPS controller, it designs a complete hardware safety mechanism from four key dimensions: motor control unit (MCU) safety mechanism, pre-driver chip safety mechanism, communication safety mechanism and power supply safety mechanism, laying a solid technical foundation for the localized application of the EPS controller.

摘要: 电动助力转向(EPS)系统是现代汽车转向系统的核心,其安全性与可靠性直接影响驾 驶体验和行车安全,故对控制器芯片性能和安全等级要求极高,该领域曾长期被国外芯片垄 断。随着国内汽车芯片产业快速发展,EPS 控制器芯片国产化应用已具备可行性。文章立足 软件功能,深入剖析 EPS 控制器的硬件需求,据此构建 EPS 控制器的硬件架构,并开展了国 产化芯片选型研究。该研究详细分析了候选国产化芯片的性能参数与可靠性表现,为选型提 供了扎实依据。同时,为满足 EPS 控制器的功能安全要求,从电机控制器(MCU)安全机制、 预驱芯片安全机制、通讯安全机制及电源安全机制四个关键维度,设计了完善的硬件安全机 制,为 EPS 控制器的国产化应用奠定了坚实的技术基础。
