Abstract: The clamshell style hood design of automobiles has become a highlight of automotive styling design due to its simple and novel appearance. The clamshell style hood has a large coverage area, and the side can extend downwards to the wheel arches. Compared with traditional hood, it increases the cost of parts and also affects the manufacturing process of sheet metal assemblies. The clamshell shaped hood of automobiles and its design advantages, analyzes the design factors that affect the manufacturing process, and discusses the influence of the was introduced and design angle of the A surface of the sheet metal shape and the joint position between the hood to the fender on the manufacturing process, a quantitative analysis method for product design improvement in the process of product synchronization engineering were discussed, which provides reference for the design and manufacturing of automotive clamshell hood.

摘要: 汽车蚌式前盖设计外观简洁新颖已成为汽车造型设计亮点。蚌式前盖包覆面大,侧面 向下可延伸至轮眉,与传统前盖相比,零件成本有所提高,同时也影响了钣金总成的制造工 艺。文章介绍汽车蚌式前盖及其造型设计优势,分析影响制造工艺的设计因素,讨论钣金造 型 A 面设计角度、前盖与翼子板分缝位置对制造工艺的影响,并探讨了产品同步工程过程中 定量分析产品设计改进的方法,为汽车蚌式前盖设计制造提供参考。
