Study on the Effect of Driving Style on the Energy Consumption of Pure Electric Buses

Abstract: Pure electric buses have the problem of limited range in actual operation, and the driver's driving behavior has a large impact on energy consumption. In order to further investigate the influence of driver driving style on energy consumption, this paper uses global positioning system (GPS) speedometer Pro to collect pure electric bus driving data, and uses K-Means mean clustering method to classify driving style into three categories: aggressive, normal and conservative based on acceleration standard deviation, and then based on theoretical energy consumption model through MATLAB to get the energy consumption of various driving styles, and analyze the influence of driving style on the energy consumption of each driving segment of pure electric buses. Then, the energy consumption of each driving style was obtained by MATLAB based on the theoretical energy consumption model, and the influence of driving style on the energy consumption of eachdriving segment of pure electric bus was analyzed. The results show that the energy consumption increases and then decreases with the increase of the average speed when driving at a uniform speed, and it is not related to the driving style; when driving at a non-uniform speed, the energy consumption tends to decrease with the increase of the average speed, and the more aggressive the driving style is in the same average speed range, the higher the energy consumption, in which the normal driving style has better economy when driving at a single acceleration, and the conservative driving causes the energy consumption to increase when driving at an acceleration more than 24.8%, aggressive driving will lead to more than 47.6% increase in energy consumption when accelerating.

摘要: 纯电动公交车在实际运行过程中存在续驶里程有限的问题,且驾驶员驾驶行为对能耗 的影响较大。为进一步探究驾驶员驾驶风格对能耗的影响,论文利用全球定位系统(GPS) 车速表 Pro 采集纯电动公交车行驶数据,并用 K-Means 均值聚类法以加速度标准差为依据将 驾驶风格分为激进型、普通型和保守型三类,然后基于理论能耗模型通过 MATLAB 软件得到 各类驾驶风格的能耗,分析驾驶风格对纯电动公交车各行驶片段能耗的影响。结果表明,匀 速行驶时能耗随着平均速度的增大先增后减,且与驾驶风格无关;非匀速行驶时随着速度平 均值的增大,能耗呈现降低的趋势,而在同一平均速度区间内驾驶风格越激进能耗越高,其 中单一加速行驶时,普通型驾驶风格具有更好的经济性,保守驾驶会导致加速行驶时的能耗 升高 24.8%以上,激进驾驶会导致加速行驶时的能耗升高 47.6%以上。
