Abstract: Course ideological and political education is the focus of current curriculum reform, and it is also a major measure to clarify "what kind of people to cultivate, how to cultivate them, and for whom to cultivate them". This article explores the ideological and political aspects of the course Automotive Chassis Electronic Control Technology. Firstly, it clarifies the characteristics of the course and accurately grasps its objectives; next, reconstructs the teaching content and refine the key points of ideological and political education through project-based teaching; finally, creates a three-dimensional curriculum evaluation system to comprehensively evaluate the level of students' ideological and political understanding. The practical results show that integrating the curriculum ideological and political evaluation system into project-based teaching significantly improves the enthusiasm of students, makes classroom problem discussions and practical activities more proactive, and improves professional skills to a certain extent. At the same time, it also deepens students' understanding of professional ethics and social responsibility, and plays a certain promoting role in improving their comprehensive literacy. This progressive and in-depth exploration method has more effectively played the role of ideological and political education in the course of Automotive Chassis Electronic Control Technology.
