Abstract: Traditional Automobile Design courses often focus on the cultivation of professional knowledge and skills, but ignore the cultivation of students' ideological and moral qualities. Therefore, in order to improve students' sense of social responsibility and professional quality, the article takes ideological and political elements as the starting point, excavates ideological and political education resources in the curriculum, designs teaching activities with ideological and political characteristics, and adopts diversified teaching methods and means to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in the curriculum. The results show that the implementation of curriculum ideology and politics not only improves students' ideological and political accomplishment and professional accomplishment, but also promotes the improvement of teaching quality and the innovative development of curriculum construction.
