新型聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯汽车阻燃材料的研究

摘要: 采用同向双螺杆挤出机和平板硫化工艺制备了膨胀型阻燃剂海岛状的聚对苯二甲酸丁 二酯阻燃材料。首先,采用同向双螺杆挤出机制备粒径均匀、体积相同、膨胀型阻燃剂含量 不同的膨胀型阻燃剂/聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯颗粒,然后采用平板硫化技术,通过熔炼制备膨胀 型阻燃剂颗粒含量梯度分布的聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯阻燃材料。通过极限氧指数、UL-94、热重 分析、扫描电子显微镜、偏光显微镜分别得到膨胀型阻燃剂在聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯中的含量 梯度分布、力学性能和形态特征。极限氧指数和 UL-94 试验结果表明,聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯/ 膨胀型阻燃剂中颗粒含量梯度分布变化较小时,聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯/膨胀型阻燃剂的阻燃性 能较好。拉伸和冲击试验表明,与相同膨胀型阻燃剂含量的均匀聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯/膨胀型 阻燃剂复合材料相比,聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯/膨胀型阻燃剂颗粒含量梯度分布的微小变化对其 力学性能没有影响。

Abstract: The intumescent flame retardant content-gradient distribution in poly (butylene terephthalate) was prepared in co-rotating twin-screw extruder and plate vulcanizing technology. The poly (butylene terephthalate)/ intumescent flame retardant particles by co-rotating twin-screw extruder, and followed by plate vulcanizing technology that fabricating intumescent flame retardant particles content-gradient distribution in poly (butylene terephthalate) through melting had physical blended particles of uniform size, the same volume and two different intumescent flame retardant content in the poly (butylene terephthalate). The flame retardant, mechanical properties and morphological features of intumescent flame retardant content-gradient distribution in poly (butylene terephthalate), which were respectively obtained by the limited oxygen index, UL-94, thermogravimetry analysis, scanning electron microscope, the polarizing microscope. Limited oxygen index and UL-94 tests results showed that with a little change of particle content-gradient distribution in poly (butylene terephthalate)/ intumescent flame retardant, the flame retardant property of poly (butylene terephthalate)/ intumescent flame retardant was better. Tensile and impact tests presented that a little change of particle content-gradient distribution in poly (butylene terephthalate)/ intumescent flame retardant had no effect on its mechanical properties comparing to uniform poly (butylene terephthalate)/ intumescent flame retardant composites of the same intumescent flame retardant content.
