Abstract: This paper deeply analyzes the application of "dual-element structure teacher group" in the teaching ability competition of vocational college skills competition. Firstly, the concept and origin of "dual-element structure teacher group" are described, which lays a good foundation for its application in teaching ability competition. Then, focusing on the new energy automobile industry, it elaborates the exploration attempts in the process of participating in the competition from five aspects: clear competition purpose, selection of competition content, innovation of teaching mode, construction of multiple evaluation, and integration of curriculum ideology and politics. Finally, the paper deeply reflects on the problems in the process of the competition, and puts forward corresponding solutions, such as recording video micro-lessons, developing loose-leaf textbooks, etc., which provides new ideas for improving the teaching quality of vocational colleges and cultivating high-quality technical talents.
