Abstract: With the development of automotive intelligent technology, there is an increasing demand for intelligent driving and riding experiences, and intelligent cabins and chassis are key assemblies to achieve this demand. The welcome function of the steering wheel is the core function that reflects comfort and experience in the intelligent cabin. At the same time, in the future, high-level intelligent driving vehicles should also have a storage and hidden function in the steering wheel after achieving fully autonomous driving, in order to further expand good driving comfort and experience. This article studies an intelligent cabin steering wheel storage and concealment system that has both traditional steering wheel welcome function and storage and concealment function. By studying the composition, working principle, control logic, and other aspects of the steering wheel storage and concealment system, the functional design of the steering wheel storage and concealment system is carried out, including electric adjustment function, welcome function, steering wheel flipping function, long-distance storage function of electric control column, expandable function, etc. It meets the new technical requirements for storing and hiding the road feel simulation device of intelligent steer-by-wire system.
