活塞裙部磨损失效分析

Wear Failure Analysis of Piston Skirt

摘要: 用户反馈某汽车发动机在车辆行驶过程中出现发动机抖动严重、噪声大等现象,随后 将发动机拆机检查,发现活塞裙部存在严重磨损、材质脱落现象。文章从活塞磨损部位的宏 观检查,活塞硬度、化学成分、金相组织等方面,对失效活塞进行了详细分析。发现此活塞 化学成分存在铁元素含量超标问题,合金中存在粗大的鱼骨状和针状铁相杂质,脆硬的夹杂 在活塞服役条件下受力产生裂纹,最终失稳扩展、脱落,造成活塞失效,为解决该类问题提 供一定参考。

Abstract: During the driving of an automobile engine, the user feedbacks that the engine jitter is serious and the noise is large. The engine was disassembled for inspection, and it was found that the piston skirt was seriously worn and the material fell off. In this paper, the failure piston is analyzed in detail from the aspects of macro inspection of piston wear parts, piston hardness, chemical composition and metallographic structure. It is found that the content of iron in the chemical composition of the piston exceeds the standard, and there are coarse fishbone and needle iron impurities in the alloy. The brittle and hard inclusions produce cracks under the stress of the piston under service conditions, and finally destabilize, expand and fall off, resulting in piston failure,to provide some reference for solving this type of problem.
