Abstract: With the continuous growth of the number of motor vehicles in my country, the old motor vehicles trading market has ushered in a broad development prospect. At the same time, the national old motor vehicles trading market still lacks a scientific and complete evaluation system. After comparing the appraisal and evaluation methods of old motor vehicles at home and abroad, this paper introduces the selection of old motor vehicles evaluation methods and the determination of evaluation parameters. After analyzing the influencing factors of the replacement rate, an improved calculation formula of the replacement rate is proposed, and the replacement cost method is optimized. This paper improves the existing evaluation system of old motor vehicles, and integrate the results of comprehensive performance testing of vehicles into the evaluation indicators, and the evaluation price is more in line with the actual situation of the vehicle, protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, and standardize the transaction order of the old motor vehicles market to promote the healthy development of the old motor vehicles industry.
