Abstract: New energy vehicles will gradually replace traditional vehicles and become the development direction of automobile industry. There is an extreme shortage of new energy vehicle talents. Vehicle engineering majors in application-oriented undergraduate colleges have set up talents training related to new energy vehicles. At present, there are many problems in the talent training of vehicle engineering and new energy vehicles in Application-oriented Colleges and universities, which affect the quality of talent training of new energy vehicles. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the training objectives, teachers, teaching materials, practice and so on. According to the existing problems, this paper puts forward the training strategy of new energy vehicle talents in vehicle engineering under the background of new engineering. This paper focuses on the construction ideas, curriculum system setting and implementation methods of the new energy vehicle direction curriculum system of vehicle engineering specialty, in order to provide reference for the talent training of new energy vehicle direction of vehicle engineering specialty in application-oriented undergraduate colleges, improve the talent training quality of new energy vehicle, and provide human resources guarantee for the rapid development of new energy vehicle industry.
