Abstract: Metrological confirmation is an important part of the measurement management system. Through metrological confirmation, we can judge the conformity of measurement equipment and determine whether the output data of measurement equipment is accurate and reliable, which is of great significance to achieve the quality goal of products. Therefore, it is important to determine a procedure and method of metrological confirmation. Combined with author’s many years of experience in metrological work, this paper expounds the significance of measurement confirmation, the identification of measurement requirements, measurement detection and verification and result judgment, and forms a complete set of procedures and methods for measurement confirmation to guide the implementation of measurement confirmation.
