Abstract: The handling performance is an important component of vehicle dynamic performance. At different stages of the vehicle development process, subjective or objective evaluation methods are usually used to verify and evaluate the handling performance. This paper conducts research on the subjective and objective correlation technology of vehicle handling performance based on driving simulators. Firstly, based on the driving simulator, a large amount of vehicle performance data for subjective and objective correlation research is generated using the calibrated vehicle model with experimental data; Based on these data, a subjective and objective correlation model is established using ridge regression method, and the accuracy of the model is verified. The research results of this paper can optimize the vehicle performance development process, improve vehicle development efficiency, and provide support for the development and evaluation of vehicle handling performance.
