Abstract: In the era of “Internet +”, China is constantly implementing education reform. In this context, in view of the problems existing in the current teaching of automobile structure, the blended teaching mode is implemented by introducing the concept of outcome based education (OBE), so as to improve the teaching effect of the course and the professional level and comprehensive quality of students. This paper starts with the analysis of students abilities that they should have after learning through the course of automobile structure. In line with the principles of positive implementation and reverse design, it designs novel teaching activities from the aspects of teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching implementation forms and curriculum assessment methods. It uses experiential teaching methods to construct two modules of theory and practice, and explores the online and offline blended teaching curriculum reform mode. Through exploration and application in practice, it fully embodies the dominant position of students learning, achieves better teaching effect, enhances the practical operation ability of students, and has certain reference significance for the exploration and practice of curriculum reform.
