Abstract: Taking a China VI heavy-duty diesel vehicle as the research object, the constant velocity and adapted China world transient vehicle cycle (C-WTVC) are performed on the chassis dynamometer, and the NH3 and NOx emissions in the exhaust are detected by portable emission measurement system (PEMS) equipment and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) equipment. The results show that under constant speed conditions, the peak NH3 emission concentration at each speed point appears as the speed increase. The average NH3 emission concentration first decreases and then increases as the speed increases. The average NOx emission concentration increases with the speed increase first, then decrease and then increase. Under C-WTVC, the average NH3 emission concentration is the largest in the high-speed phase, and the average NH3 emission concentration in the urban phase is the smallest. The average NOx emission concentration is low in three phases. The emission factor of NH3 has the same trend as its average emission concentration.
